News!! Soulcraft is coming.

The amazing work of Animas and Bill Plotkin is finally coming to the UK and this is a unique opportunity to encounter this.

Bill Plotkin, the author of “Soulcraft: Crossing into the Mysteries of Nature and Psyche” has been guiding people into the wilderness, of the land and the soul for over twenty years. He states; ‘We long to discover the secrets and mysteries of our individual lives, to find our unique way of belonging to this world… Soulcraft focuses on… our yearning for individual personal meaning and a way to contribute to life, a yearning that pulls us toward the heart of the world --down, that is, into wild nature.

(To order book see AVI website or amazon.)

This is the first time the work has been brought to these islands led by Annie Bloom and Dr Peter Scalan, (Biographies available on AVI website), both highly experienced wilderness guides, with one primary aim, to bring you into encounter with the soul. Both workshops will offer the opportunity for you to enter into this ‘Soulcraft’ journey,

Human Nature is a not for profit organisation and community of people whose mission is to explore the relationship between human beings and the natural world.

This task requires many different skills, experience, knowledge, awareness, consciousness and learning about how the natural world can support our growth as individuals and communities and how we can support the natural world in turn.

Our focus is on working with people in the outdoor green and wild spaces. Through our courses we bring about greater personal awareness of our potential as a human beings and how we can access the natural world to support us in being this.

We integrate our theraputic approach with complementary outdoor pursuits such as rock climbing and mountain climbing, with woodland working and wilderness expeditions and retreats as a way of accessing ourselves and our relationship to nature.

We run half day, whole day, weekend and week long courses in the South Wales, Eire and South West of England

Using nature to help with health and well being has also been researched recently by Mind the mental health charity. Click on link for report.

Our experience is that the natural world offers us a gateway into being which when accessed brings forth an abundance of opportunities and possibilities for being fully ourselves. Once we begin to be fully ourselves we can begin to offer our deepest human gifts to our families, communities and the world at large.

Our intention is to find best practice in how to live fully in the world with ease, lightness and consciousness. Giving and receiving with honour and care for ourselves and others.

As John Muir the great Scottish environmentalist wrote:

Climb the mountains

           and get their good tidings.

Nature's peace will flow into you

as sunshine flows into trees.

The winds will blow

        their own freshness into you...

                      while cares will drop off

                 like autumn leaves.
